Damned if I can remember. I'd have to look it up.

Make War, Not Love!

I wasn't making any sort of commentary about war. Just an observation that the American public is okay with presidents using the Oval Office to make war plans but not for getting toothy intern BJs.

That last comment made no sense, war plans are a perfectly good task to use the Oval Office for while the other...not so much.

really? how can you say that having some kind of relations in the Oval Office is okay but making a plan for war is not? is this because you are some kind of peace nut that i didn't know? or that you just didn't like the last few wars we've entered into? i'm not following any kind of logic here...help me please.

It just amuses me that societal norms dictate that when it comes to the Oval Office, warmongering is perfectly natural and sex is verboten. Well the French probably don't see it that way, but you get my point.

Look, I understand that sometimes there is a need for war. That sometimes war is unavoidable. I'm not for all wars and I'm not against all war. I think it is wise to judge each war or potential war on it's own merit. But I like to think that no matter how commonplace war has been throughout history, it is still not a natural part of man's nature like sex is. So, my logic is as follows:

Oval Office or not, I'd rather have my president getting a knobber than making war plans. It just feels right to me.
